The New Hampshire Montessori Association is a non-profit organization, formed in February 2007 to create a forum for the continuing education of Montessori teachers in New Hampshire, and to promote the Montessori philosophy in our state. We are energized by the prospect of reaching out to the Montessori community as well as other educators and parents interested in the work of Dr. Maria Montessori.
In our busy lives and work we must take the time to build connections within our Montessori community. The simple experiences of talking with other teachers, visiting other schools, and participating in workshops rejuvenate us as we are reminded of the core meaning in our work as Montessori teachers, the legacy of Dr. Maria Montessori’s life. NHMA intends for this website to be a resource for the Montessori teachers of NH as well as a place to share knowledge and gain new perspectives in our ever changing profession.
