Primary Assistant Teacher | The Montessori Children’s School, Hanover, NH

We have two multi-aged classrooms (3–6-year-olds) and offer a three-year program (2 years of preschool and Kindergarten). We are seeking a classroom assistant who will be warm, friendly and supportive with children while at the same time, sharing Maria Montessori’s respect for the satisfaction small children take from all they are able to do and to learn for themselves. All staff spend time outside with the children in all seasons. Some light manual labor (moving of tables/chairs) is part of the job. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree, have some experience with early childhood education and/or Montessori experience, and be excited about her or his role as a facilitator of learning.
